Armory Spinnaker Training
Jun 29, 2017 by DROdio
We’ve put together a number of training resources for various audiences interested in training their organizations on the use of Armory Spinnaker:
Workshops
Armory recommends conducting hands-on workshops with the users of Armory Spinnaker. Users might consist of: DevOps teams, automation teams, application teams and product managers who want to be able to deploy code to production (depending on how self-service you want to make your deployment process).
Armory provides in-depth technical and user documentation you can use to run a workshop. Specifically, we recommend:
- Spinnaker Training Videos: A series of instructional training videos to get started using Spinnaker.
- Your First Application: Help a user become comfortable with making and deleting an application in the Spinnaker interface. Additional guides in that section include Load Balancers and Your First Pipeline.
- Other Core Concepts: The User Guides then dig into concepts like the Application Screen, Working with Jenkins, Baking Images, Deploying and much more.
- Best Practices: We also recommend spending time reviewing best practices in the workshop.
Other Resources
We also have a number of presentations to help explain concepts like immutable infrastructure, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and how Spinnaker works.
