Target & Cloud Portability enabled by Armory: As told by Scopely and Makerbot

Mar 5, 2018 by DROdio

Armory recently published two customer stories showcasing how Scopely and Makerbot have used our Platform— the Core of which is powered by Spinnaker– to migrate between VMs and Containers, and also across clouds.

As the underlying clouds mature, and companies work to break monolithic applications into microservices as they reach Stage 3 in their software deployment maturity, application teams will want to deploy their workloads at the optimal cadence for each mircroservice, to the optimal target, on the optimal cloud.

Armory’s Platform exists to help software teams ship better software, faster. Enabling cloud portability and seamless migration for application teams across different targets is a key core component of our platform and long-term vision.
